Flocktons, Grimsby (Storage Tank 2)

Part 2 of this Flocktons project saw ESH design, supply and install a second storage tank frost protection system. Again using type FBT self regulating trace heating cable, this tank required only the lower half protecting. 150 metres of heating cable was installed in total to this 2.5m dia x 6.5m high storage tank.

ESH were contracted to design, supply and install a frost protection trace heating system to a large storage tank, 3.5m dia x 6.5m high. In total over 220 metres of type FBT self regulating heating cable was installed to achieve the required heat loss replacement.

ESH supplied and install a trace heating system to temperature maintain a large HCA storage tank at +36°C in a minimum ambient of -20°C. The system, within a Zone II Hazardous Area, required over 150 metres of type SCBX ATEX approved constant wattage heating cable.

Flint Ink UK Ltd, Wolverhampton

A local project and a site we have done work for in previous years. ESH were contracted to supply and install a trace heating system to maintain steel pipework and two tanks at a temperature of +70ºC. The tanks comprised of a holding tank and a pre-mix tank, both 2.2m diameter and 3.5m tall. In total the system required over 300 metres of type SCB30/2 constant wattage heating cable.
