Plymouth EFW (Energy From Waste)
This facility will provide South West Devon with one of the most efficient energy from waste plants in Europe. For this large frost protection application, ESH split the project into two separate systems:
- System one was designed, supplied and installed with type VC constant wattage heating cable onto the range pipework, the manifolds and gel skid pipe, incoming feed, deluge and cannon feed pipes.
- The second system was for the frost protection of 400mm NB steel pipework associated with two hose reels. ESH supplied and installed type ESRS self regulating cable in order to prevent the pipework temperature dropping below +5°C.
