Cambrian Centre, Newport

ESH carried out repair work to an existing JBTR1 thermostat plus supplied and installed an additional run of type VCBOJ constant wattage heating cable to the CHW pipework.

Tophill Low WWTW

ESH supplied and installed FBTBOJ self regulating heating cable in order to frost protect 1" and 2" plastic pipework at +5°C in a minimum ambient temperature of -20°C.

New SEM Headquarters, Dartford


Within this brand new headquarters building for technology manufacturing group SEM, we were contracted to supply and install a frost protection trace heating system to the chilled water pipework associated with three chillers. The system was designed using type VCBOJ constant wattage heating cable and controlled via JBTA thermostats.

ESRI Building, Swansea University

The Energy Safety Research Institute (ESRI) is a brand new 3800sqm building on Swansea's Bay Campus. ESH designed, supplied and installed a frost protection trace heating system to over 600 metres of external pipework on the buildings roof area. Pipework, which comprised of BCW, LTHW and CHW pipes up to 100mm NB, was straight traced using our constant wattage heating tape type VCBOJ.

Downside Abbey Library, Radstock


The Abbey library is the largest private library in the South West of England and holds one of the largest collections of research material in the UK. Within this fabulous building, ESH supplied and installed a frost protection trace heating system to the external pipework in the basement area. The pipework comprised of LTHW, CHW and sump-pump pipework up to 50mm NB. Two buffer vessels approximately 1.8m tall were also frost protected.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Derby

Within the Toyota weld shop, ESH supplied and install a trace heating system to perform the duty of temperature maintenance. The internal metal pipework was required to maintain a temperature of +30°C.
