Flocktons, Grimsby (Storage Tank 1)
ESH were contracted to design, supply and install a frost protection trace heating system to a large storage tank, 3.5m dia x 6.5m high. In total over 220 metres of type FBT self regulating heating cable was installed to achieve the required heat loss replacement.

Penrith WWTW
For this waste water treatment project, ESH designed, supplied and installed over 600 metres of self regulating trace heating cable. The site requirement was to frost protect the external ABS pipework at +5°C in a minimum ambient temperature of -20°C. Type FBT heating cable was used throughout this project.

Stockport WWTW
ESH were contract to provide frost protection trace heating to external pipework and a large vessel. Just under 800 metres of type FBT self regulating heating cable was supplied and installed on site to prevent the formation of ice.

5 Hyde Park (Rackspace Ltd), London
Part two of this large trace heating project, saw ESH supply, design and install a trace heating system to frost protect the chilled water and basic cold water pipework on top of the office roof. The system was designed to use our type VC constant wattage heating cable, of which, over 600 metres was installed during the first part of the project.

Stepan, Stalybridge
ESH extended the existing trace heating circuits with the same power rated trace heating cable as already installed. The required application was to temperature maintain the emergency shower pipework at a minimum temperature of +10°C.

Plaxica (Wilton Centre), Redcar
Within a Zone I Hazardous Area, ESH designed, supplied and installed a temperature maintenance trace heating system to a section of 1" Ø vessel pipework. The pipework required to be maintained between +90°C and +150°C, this was achieved by straight tracing three runs of type SCBXC12/2 ATEX Approved constant wattage heating cable to the underside of each pipe.

Plymouth EFW (Energy From Waste)
This facility will provide South West Devon with one of the most efficient energy from waste plants in Europe. For this large frost protection application, ESH split the project into two separate systems:
- System one was designed, supplied and installed with type VC constant wattage heating cable onto the range pipework, the manifolds and gel skid pipe, incoming feed, deluge and cannon feed pipes.
- The second system was for the frost protection of 400mm NB steel pipework associated with two hose reels. ESH supplied and installed type ESRS self regulating cable in order to prevent the pipework temperature dropping below +5°C.

ESH supplied and install a trace heating system to temperature maintain a large HCA storage tank at +36°C in a minimum ambient of -20°C. The system, within a Zone II Hazardous Area, required over 150 metres of type SCBX ATEX approved constant wattage heating cable.

ESH were contracted to supply and install constant wattage heating cable to repair a damaged trace heating circuit. The 2" and 3" NB pipework containing PPA needed to be temperature maintained at +100°C.

Orley Farm School, Harrow
ESH supplied and installed a trace heating system to provide frost protection to two runs of BCWS pipework. Type VCBOJ constant wattage heating cable was installed onto the external metal pipes and controlled using STCI thermostats.
